I found these tonight, stuffed down the back of a drawer. Left as they are nearly all of them will not be fishable, so do I restore them or leave them in the back of the drawer.
Thanks
BB

They look good to me, why are they not fishable? Don't restore any Harcork, they are collectable in original condition.

There are holes in a lot of the float and there are deep cuts in the bodies and the varnish is cracked and missing.Nigel Rainton wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 11:00 pm They look good to me, why are they not fishable? Don't restore any Harcork, they are collectable in original condition.

The orange float on the far left looks like a Harcork, have a look at the dark green stem at the bottom of the float. It will have a transfer saying "Harcork". It's just a design / brand but for some reason people collect them.

Re: Found these tonight....
I will never use the big old floats, so maybe a framed display in their untouched condition would be a idea.

The orange float on the left is an auger never miss, red band above a green base there are two others in the group lovely cork body floats. They will make a first class display

Hope that you are not keeping fairies locked up in that drawer, can see the faint writing of "help" near the stems of the floats
