Chris Yates landing net for sale.

Post by Snape »

The landing net used by Chris in the Monster Myths episode of APFA is up for sale by Edward Barder.
A snip at £1500.

That’s a nice piece with great provenance, overpriced though, I’m sure someone with deep pockets will snap it up.

If I had not got one from OMR just 6 days ago I would have had that, I missed a bargain there.

Fifteen hundred quid! That’d need to come complete with the rod and reel he used for me to find the bottom of my pockets! :Hahaha:

For that sort of money, I'd want Chris to come and land my fish for me

Allegedly the frame was made by Bob Southwell and the net was knitted by a certain K. Kendall. Allegedly.

K.Kendall didn't knit he crochet'd! :Hahaha: On a more serious note, if someone is prepared to pay £1500 for this net, what might someone be prepared to pay for your Dick Walker reel? Interesting thought! :Hat:
