All my whippings are original as the rod was mint and unused when I got it.

Thought I would share the repairs carried out this week and rod now ready for spring.
As recommended I sourced a suitable replacement tip ring which matches pretty well and re whipped the original butt ring.
Thread is also a very good match to say it was chosen from photos.
Very pleased with outcome although as you can tell I am a novice at rod repairs but very usable.
