This one's a bit fishy...

Post by Watermole+ »

Shades of Nobby's 'Naiad' but more lightly built for waters with smaller fish. This is the second time that I have used nickel-silver as a base material for the spine which gives a nice contrast to the bronze and other materials.

Backplate is chiefly walnut panels with striated laburnum inlay.
Winders are black Ebonite on nickel-silver mounts.

The line drum is satin finished, 3 3/4" diameter and 5/8" wide between the side plates with internal support spokes.
The centre boss is Hiduron 130, a copper-nickel alloy material.

That is certainly the most wonderful thing I am likely to see today. Engineering art at it's finest.
