I am in the process of refurbing a very nice Float Rover, part of which is replacing all the guides. Would love to use the Red/Black Jasper for all the whippings, Hens teeth comes to mind. If anybody could help with the Jasper, both the Rod and I will be eternally grateful?

Try Crucian on this forum. He bought a huge reel of a very good substitute ( slightly heavier gauge than the original but good colour match) and was very generous to me and others with Milwards rods to rewhip.

I have been perfectly satisfied with using the Rayon Madeira thread that has been previously talked about on the TFF.I can let you have some white and red jasper, which gives a nice pinkish finish. I presume they do a red and black jasper,
