Cardinal 755

Does anyone have a contact for servicing a 755 in reasonable condition? I have bought one to make a pair having previously bought one new in the late 70's. I have tried both options advised by Pure Fishing (Hardy Greys) who have bought the Abu name and got no answer. I think the post covid problem will be "who is still in business?".

Pete Coogan was one of two numbers that Hardy/Greys gave me but I have not got an answer yet when I ring. Thanks for the info but I find now, in the pandemic is "what has reopened or what has crashed but the website is still there"

Spoke to Pete only last week! He's been on holiday recently and had a message on his answerphone explaining that and giving his return to work date. He's a top chap so I'd give him another go if I were you

Thank you to all that helped with my quest for servicing a 755. I rang and emailed everyone I could and the first to answer was QM Quality Service in Plymouth. They have a four week turnround and it is now waiting for me at my local Post Office. This is because the postman could not find the doorbell and so all I got was a "come & collect" card. I am now looking forward to fielding a matching pair on cane barbel rods.
