Typically over-engineered by the upstart when a bit of angled stick or longer one laid over the line would suffice. Come on Jeremy, at least try to be traditional :tea:

I like the additional splitshot though, very chic.

It did move when a crayfish ran off with my worm :Hair out:
We changed to paternoster rigs to try and keep the bait away from the blighters....
I positioned it with my forceps to avoid the nettles :Thumb:

Personally, I go for the suitably lairy wrapper of the Schoolboy Biscuit, aka Tunnock's Caramel.
First on the market in 1952, they are plenty traditional enough!!
Been scoffing them since probably 1959.
