Terry Daniels Centrepin

Post by C5unk »

Hi
Can anyone provide any information relating to Terry Daniels who made centrepins sold out of Ramford Tackle in the 1990’s. I have a couple of his lovely reels but I have no other information. Would like to know a little more about him. Thanks

I have a couple but have never been able to validate them. They are quality though.

If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

Yes are lovely reels. Mine are marked TD with date on underside of brass foot.

Well that makes 5 - as I have one exactly the same. :Hat: - - ((Addendum:- mine has the initials TK 2002 - not TD!))

All I know is that a variety of different centrepins were made by various makers - probably/possibly using the same workshop - in Essex.

Plus one for sale on that well known auction site.

The picture above shows a black version not chrome as shown on that site and made by Tommy Kelsey

The one I looked at was black and also by Terry Daniels 41/2 inch asking £399.
