The top weir

Post by Bobthefloat »

Here's a picture taken at the end of an unsuccessful session a couple of weeks ago on the top weir of the Royalty. I say unsuccessful but it was worth it just to see the pool lit up by the last full moon of the year.
This one will stay with me for quite a while

Keston who is a fantastic photographer once told me when I asked why a photo I took didn't look the same as I saw it in reality said the Mk1 eyeball is far better than any camera lens

Lovely picture Terry! I have great memories of fishing that weir pool. I think It used to be known as 'The Compound' and could be booked in advance? Unless I am wrong of course! :surrender:

Yes Ted the pool is booked in advance I think it was about £90 for 3 of us :fishing2: but you also have access to the whole of the main river :Hat:

I think that is a reasonable price for three people, it can produce some big specimens! :Ok:
