Not sure when the rod was first introduced but it was still being listed in the "Edgar Sealey Fishing Equipment 1964 Price list" ... by which time the"Two Fishes" logo had been adopted. 9ft., 3 piece built cane with one top selling at 90 shillings (£4 . 50p in today's toy money).

The info has helped me identify two Edgar Sealey 10ft cane Roach rods I have! Well one is now only 9ft 6 inch now!
