Here's an interesting one

Watched a good fishing film lately, why not talk about it in here.

Personally I don't really know what to think about that? Should I simply take my best lures and put them in line all together?
Thankfully we are given rules to use only a single "bait point" over here in Germany - so I don't need to think about it too much.
Might work certainly though

What I'd call wilderness survival fishing tactics ie for when you must catch inorder not to starve. I see a proliferation of 'modern lure anglers' actively targeting wild trout with 'LRF' and 'BFS' tactics, micro lures and spinners etc which I personally see as unsporting in comparison to selective flyfishing with single barbless hooks. I draw a comparison here with the Tenkara anglers(?!) who deliberately target juvenile trout and parr in a numbers game - again I find that unsporting and going very much against the grain of how I was brought up to fish ie under strict instruction to leave the young foolhardy trout well alone!

Redneck mentality is rarely for the purists.

I certainly don't qualify as a purist Dave - I fish flies subsurface and even downstream on occasions :Sun: What I am for is care and conservation of our native stock in its many varieties and considerate and respectful angling of all species. A bow and arrow cast is one thing, shooting fish with a bow and arrow is quite another

I understand that's what carp are for in NZ and USA.
