Well done Vito!! The Chapman 500 does it again!! Like you, I fish the Ouse, but due to the low levels of both water and oxygen, I haven't been out for some time.

Brilliant sounds like a proper adventure. Did you eat any of the trout? We used to hot smoke ours in an old Abu smoker, eaten with some buttered bread overlooking a wild loch. Probably the most memorable meals I've ever had.
Never test the depth of the water with both feet.
