Four cane roads

Post by Bluenoser »

I recently inherited the four cane rods shown below and would be interested in any information about them. One is a Hardy rod and the others are unmarked.
Hardy. E87250 (1953?). 3 piece rod with extra tip section, 9' with lockfast ferrules. Sticker from G. Willey, 5 Beacon Terrace, Falmouth ("Rod Specialist"). On the top of the handle is "MK2 PAT PEND DOWTY 5PAT". Looks similar to a "Gold Medal" rod in a 1963 catalogue online?

Unknown. 3 piece rod with extra tip section, 10'. Sticker from G. Willey, 5 Beacon Terrace, Falmouth ("Rod Specialist").

Unknown. 2 piece rod. 7'6", missing first ring.

Unknown. 3 piece rod. 9'6".

Thanks
