Hawthorne fly (dry tutorial)

I tied one last night. The legs are tricky to get placed how I wanted them to be.
Is there a trick?
Worry less about who you might offend, and care more about who you might inspire.

Cross the legs at desired length and tie them in at cross junction iasgair,that’s my preference. Sometimes they just won’t sit in the position you want so there’s a bit of luck involved👍
