a small confusion . i used 7 intermediate rings + the tip. = 8 in total

here is a poor pic of my old stick.
Now you HAVE confused me Gilbert.
I understood the 500 had 6 rings, and the de luxe 7. Both numbers including the tip ring.

At the end of the game, the pawn and the King go back into the same box........

that's not correct OR . the 500 has 5 +tip, the dl has 6 + tip . i build my 500s with 7 + tip. much nicer

I have to gently disagree with you saying I am incorrect Gilbert.
I think you have misread. I said 500 has 6 and deluxe 7 - both numbers INCLUDING tip. I read that as the same as you are saying - 500 is 5 plus tip i.e. 6, and deluxe 6 plus tip i.e. 7.
