March brown (wet tutorial)

Post by Ian »

The March brown shows up at the beginning of a season, usually late March/early April, depending on the temperature. Wether the fish want it is hit or miss, just like the yellow may dun,but it’s better to have one in the wallet cause we just never know. The March brown is a big fly and I’ve tied this one on a size 12.

Beautifully tied Ian. And thank you for showing how you fold the wings. That's something I will have to try myself.
Worry less about who you might offend, and care more about who you might inspire.
