One man one rod. The Art of Classic Split Cane.

Post by MoleFisher »

Just received my copy of this book , which is a wonderful catalogue of one man’s collection of cane rods.
There are some rare and interesting rods here.
The exceptional photographs were taken by master photographer of rods and tackle ,Dave Watson.
If you have an interest in split cane and cane fishing rods it won’t disappoint.

I purchased a copy of this book a few weeks ago. The photographs are outstanding, but because of the lack of information regarding the rods, I returned the book and got my money back.
Oh to be at my “Happy Place” where nothing matters but the being there.

I too have a copy and I was extremely disappointed at the lack of text. A great deal of money for a collection of photographs,
albeit very professional. :Scared:

Well done. No reason why being traditional should excuse a poor product. :Hat:

Do you have or seen/read a copy JAA?

And Dave what do you need to know about the rods?

Dave Watson has previously produced similar books including Pocket Fruit Knives and The London Knife Book amongst them.
