Same Reel-Different Badge.
ASHAWAY Slip Cast Reel circa 1948 made by OTCO.A little while back I showed you an OTCO Slip Cast Reel which is identical to the ASHAWAY.I wonder what prompted the change of model name ???........I call upon the most honourable FREDLINE to shed some light.I'm confused.I don't want to be confused.Forgot to mention the lovely brass gears in the ASHAWAY....TTFN

Solved.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

Fredline I just KNEW you'd come up trumps with a cherry on top.......Again,my WRIGHTS Guide does list the OTCO/ASHAWAY reels but doesn't have all that lovely info.Many many thanks once again.
