If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

Very true , but it might surprise some how many pensions are partly funded off the water company profits . I'm completely against what the water companies are doing and it's a bit like a black satire movie all things said . Most folk that are retired with a fat pension rarely question where there money has come from and at what cost. It's not only the fat cats that profit from the lack of investment in our water usage, it's also a fair amount of folk that protest at what these companies are doing . Oh the irony, the irony! :tea:

Agree with you 100% Martin.
The situation as it now, is an utter disgrace.
How much longer is this going to continue ?
This is the 21st century and we are supposedly an advanced country.
Strikes me, it's just "Snouts in troughs"

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to write to the Newspaper

Well done Martin, fine words of wisdom and years on the front line.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
