The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Thank you all for the kind welcome.
I have accidentally uncovered a perfect venue for next year, full of weed, lily beds and being surrounded by overhanging trees.
It has a good stock of tench, crucians, perch, roach, rudd and the occasional pike. All i need now is some old school floats and a centre pin & i'm all set!
