I found this interesting this morning...
I wasn't sure at first if I could sit through it, but I gave the young man the benefit of the doubt and watched it until the end.
You "might" enjoy it too.
The backdrops are not the best but the river and fish looked great.
What a river it would have been in times past.
I know Izaak Walton enjoyed a dabble on it.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Most details can be found on Facebook - via The Wandle Piscators.
There seems plenty of fish in the river from barbel to trout!

Excellent video, the Wandle is a great river to fish, pretty much everything in there apart from pike and most of it is free.

Enjoyed it but it does annoy that he's not coarse fished for ages but fishes for carp?

Yes I did see that Olly... FB page, I also found the link below interesting.
On the other point.. yes he said first time had been course fishing for a long time spending most of his time Carp fishing!
He seemed a nice young man though despite the "Yo" as an introduction.... Old Izaak would turn in his grave!
