From a couple of conversations, I gather that there is some disquiet about the extra early start and ten pound entry fee.
I suspect there will be comments at the fair about equal opportunities etc. Could be setting up issues for future fairs. Just a heads up.

Ten quid to get in early? Probably better spent on a full English breakfast and a good mug of tea….

It's really only £6 to get in early? You would have to pay £4 at 9am entry anyway . Seems a bargain .RBTraditional wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2023 8:47 pm Ten quid to get in early? Probably better spent on a full English breakfast and a good mug of tea….

With regard to the early entry £10, as John (Keston) said, it is in effect an extra £6 to get first pick of the goods on sale. Most car boot fairs have had an early entry charge for years, in my experience it is worth it to get in early!

Crashed car probably the cause. On its side by crash barrier. Rescue services were attending about two hours ago. Best avoid if possible.
