Ground bait

Post by Homer Simpson »

I very rarely buy ground bait , loose feed and bread mash are usually my preferred methods.

I was perusing a match angler’s shop website.

What’s lickey bread? I assume liquidised bread.

I am aware mole hill soil is used by some people how does one prepare this?

What’s Leam?

There is an excellent YouTube video - 'Fishing for Bream using Soil and Leam'.

You would be flabbergasted if you went to the Continent with the number of varieties of groundbaits! I think we have enough here!

Also a very explanatory article in a magazine - - http - - - - - - - - - - matchangler.com/freeview/gbtechniques/79-leams-a-soils.html

Having read that article twice - I think I need to copy it!

Best article I have ever read on adding earth - soils - to groundbait,
