Welcome to the forum.

I have just been lost in admiration, looking at your reel servicing posts.
I have read posts speaking about the difficulties in working on the Altex, but you make it look like a walk in the park.

Really not that difficult. Take lots of pictures and use common sense, as how parts reassemble. Google sometimes helps, too. Lol

Indeed it is. The Lake of the Ozarks is one of the largest man made lakes and has more miles of shoreline than the California costline.
Loaded with game fish of numerous species.

A very warm welcome to you, Steven!
What a wonderful lake to have on your doorstep; what a wonderful area. I spent a week by the Lake of the Ozarks over the New Year '76 - '77 and there was a lot of ice on the water.
As I remember, the temperature reached as low as 0 Deg F - i.e. 32 Degrees of frost and I was told that got even colder.......Brrrrrrr!
But I was in good company and we kept warm.......
Enjoy a long visit with us here!
Mike

Thank you! I live about 20 minutes from the Lake. We fish year round, here. Broke ice with the boat, just so we xould get our jigs to sink.

Welcome to TFF Woodbilly,
I'm sure you will enjoy it. Plenty of experience with tackles and chat.
Just looked up your location on Google maps.. Looks like you have some great fishing there!
Enjoy..,
Mr B
The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
