"Evening all"
I have just got myself a nice 18" round folding landing net frame ( you know the type)
It came with a standard knotted net, not to be used now (apart from hanging my scrap bread in)
Snow bee I have used for a few nets but they come in green.
I did read a post a good few months saying you can get replacement knotless nets in a more traditional colour, light brown?
Any ideas?

New net knotless net.
The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Re: New net knotless net.
Mark I've made several meshes out of a Carp net that Dinsmores used to market ( may still do?)
It is a lovely bronze colour that the photos don't do justice to. Perfect for vintage nets looking exactly like a well used oiled cotton type from the Sixties. It's quite simple to cut a mesh to size and use braid to sew up the joins., you can make use of the fine meshed "Tunnel"? Where the original Carp mesh hangs on the frame.

Dinsmore’s landing nets are decent, brown and cheap! I don’t think much of the frames, so buy one, cut the net off and send the metal frame to recycling. I claim no credit for this great idea, Wally’s Cast did it to repair a damaged ash framed net I have. It looks great and works fine.

Re: New net knotless net.
Thanks Gents,
That's definitely given me a lead
I will keep my eyes peeled.
Yesterday I experimented.
I put my knotless SnowBee green replacement net (from one of my Sharps net) in a solution of bleach, mixing it strong, but not enough to weaken the net. (Hopefully, well it seems strong enough)
After a good soak... it came out the same, if not a tad darker!!
I slid it on to my new folding 1960 folding round 18" landing net and it looks ok, it will do.
If the green net could be toned down to light brown that would look fine.
Yes, its a trout net marketed as ideal for catch and release.
