
I have just found some information saying the M in M Lee & Son Ltd. stands for Moses, who founded the company, but I can't find any real info on him. Does anyone know owt about this chap.

While it's true that M. Lee was a woman, I think the men involved were the driving force behind the business. She was just a fly-dresser for many years. Correct. I don't think it was unique in that respect though.
