Reel Identification.

Post by David Pratt »

I am hoping that someone may be able to identify a reel I recently acquired as part of an auction lot. It appears to be missing the makers name plate on the right hand side casing. There is no anti reverse but an interesting drag mechanism is built into the main shaft. Photos attached.

Almost certainly an Italian Nettuno reel.

Many thanks, I found a few pictures online and it certainly appears to be a Nettuno.

Great, I would say that yours is something like the badged BELA version (ie without the ratchet switch etc.)
