Trousers

Post by Stathamender »

Apparently Decathlon now do something called 'silent trousers' https://www.decathlon.co.uk/sports/coun ... t-trousers. Nothing worse than noisy trousers when you're fishing.

What is your favourite word?
I suspect it could be “love”, despite its drawbacks in the rhyming department.

I thought that they were soundproofed to stop the sound of explosive flatulence eruptions of wind from the rear end.

I wonder if silent trousers are available in a loud check? :Chuckle:

Been available from ""Deerhunter"" for some years, I have several pairs - - and jackets! All in a green hue rather than camo!

I have a new unused Deerhunter Kamchatka 'bib & brace' - (33in inside leg) - far too long for me - with tags still on them. Quilt lined - waterproof - open to sensible offers - (£175+ new).

Did earlier products have an asbestos lining, I wonder?

Probably best they are silent ' cos if they could talk it would be difficult to keep them quiet with the horrors and stories they could tell about what their owners get up to in them.

The stuff of nightmares, no doubt.

What the trousers could tell about the likes of young Wally Boy and Dave Burr at the Gonk Fests, would read like a Stephen King story.

Or even worse tales told by his half brother Wayne.!

The horror, the horror.

As ever,.......
