Welcome from Chelmo. We’re overdue a pub get-together of the usual local suspects so I’ll try and arrange that in the next couple of months.

'Evening local Essexers, I quite like the idea of combining a chat about old tackle with a visit to the pub, we used to do this in the Wivenhoe Greyhound in the early '80s, my friends and I " the lunker hunters " would meet up after a day of attempting to bring an elusive Wivenhoe wildie or two to the net. That was when old tackle was quite new and we fought for the right to a table with the visiting miners, at least we all agreed that punk on the jukebox was cool, chicken in a basket, scampi fries, cheesy moments and too much Guinness were too, will put some pic's of the Superwizard on a Wizard thread tomorrow and maybe some of my home-made floats too, Mike
