Ah yes,I saw this recently on **** but resisted the temptation.I used to have a great many oddballs in my collection but I scaled things down to focus solely on one particular French maker.Someone should write a book......'Weird French Bale-Arms'.Your latest addition has a beauty.As ever......great photo's and text.

I was the sole bidder on this beaut! I guess too much money or just not anyone's thing.
Same seller I got the Doperr from.
Oh, well. Was fine by me!

That’s completely bonkers in a way only early French fixed spools seem to be …… and I love it!

I took both French girls out!

Both were flawless, but have to say, I love, love the Lasso.
The Doperr is so smooth and the lovely a/r click is so subtle, but that wacky Lasso was so fun to catch crappie with and it's crazy drag click is the most unique ever!

Just a fun reel to use and easily handled the big whitey's, today!
