Youngs of Harrow "The Windrush"
Going to Redditch with notes in ones pocket is too much of a temptation ... and needless to say I succumbed.
I found this restored Young's of Harrow "The Windrush," described as a 'light river rod' at 9ft in length, and a delight for me to hold as it is so light I am sure that even an old codger like myself will have no difficulty in holding it all day long. This will be the rod I lose my grayling virginity to. I was pleased that two TFF members who looked it over thought it a worthwhile purchase.

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

I take it that's the rod you visited at least 3 times before purchasing AC. :chuckle:
