Ha ha, I was beaten to it by Mr. Elwyn Attwood, but I haven't seen a copy of his book yet.


Apparently there are some Flick 'Em anomalies in it, but he talks correctly of 'types' of Ambidex where many of us would incorrectly say 'Mark'. It seems no reel had the word Mark on it until the Mark 5, and there's two versions of them in the images already......

I doubt you could invent a 'Bitsa' from Ambidex parts that Youngs didn't market at one time or another, though I think Chris Yates' Bishop-capturing second version FP with a Mark Six folding handle might have been unique at the time.
