Just looked at my Aspindale Aero Wizard having used the name rather than the No. - which I now find is a No. 907. I had thought that the No. was Model specific - obviously not! I shall have to look at my other Aspindale numbers!
The cork handle is a different shape to yours being 'squarish' at the top end

Well....yes. To a point. But most of those rods have been restored at some time and one can't always be sure they have been faithfully done. You'd be amazed how many contacts the site gets asking if rods are for sale or if a certain part can be obtained.
Most contacts are requesting valuations though......and when they've been given I'd say 1 in 30 sends any thanks.
