I have fished it around Aslockton area; I caught chub on floatfished sweetcorn but did see some pike up to 5 or perhaps 6 lb, and something that looked like a trout but I wasn't sure. That was probably around 10 years ago though.

Unfortunately still no idea on the fishing rights , I have a permission for metal detecting in the area so will ask the farmer if he could point me I the right direction of the land owner
