Some years ago on a trip to India I discovered a mosquito repellant cream called Odomos which is sold everywhere there. You can buy it here on Amazon and I suspect other places as well. This stuff really works well for me and since starting to use it I have had no problems with bites even in heavily infested areas. What's more it smells great is made from natural ingredients and is not full of nasty stuff like DEET.
