Thigh waders are okay Mark but it's surprising how soon you realise your legs just aren't long enough. When trout fishing, I used to favour waste waders as they give you that little bit more - and it helped me to overcome the stocking fetish :eyebrow:

If you pay a bit more then breathable options are available from many manufacturers.

I prefer rubber waders as they seem to be warmer than fabric. I have a pair of green Stormwells rubber thigh ones - I don't like anything above my thighs getting cold and wet! About 8 years old now and no idea where they came from!

Looked them up on Google and found that 'South American river' sellers have them. :secret:
