I fish the Tees mainly for chub, dace, grayling, perch and the odd pike.
I use a variety of methods, but in winter it’s mainly light ledgering. Other times the float comes into play, or it’s lures.
The Tees is such a wild river it can be hard going at times one way or another, but that’s why I enjoy it so much.
Recently I’ve developed a liking for old Daiwa reels. You can’t beat the 700 and 7000 series for looks, reliability and value in my view.
you'll find a soulmate in fellow forum member, Bobthefloat... another brown Daiwa aficionado... 
We are slowly gathering better numbers of more northern members and at some point a gathering is going to be in order I hope. Also I'm pleased to see another Daiwa fan
