Looks like a nice reel. I've just bought an 'intrepid' boxed with spare spool. I like Morritts, good looks and affordable. I'm sure that even if your BP splits in two as suggested earlier you'll have had your monies worth.

I had a fiddle with the reel today and when the anti-reverse is turned on and you turn the handle it is the loudest thing in the entire world of angling! Is this normal?

Perfect for an omelette.

Yes, Horseshoe Tackle was the shop I used as a kid Woolly and all those floats Steve used to make. He works around the corner now for Steve Parton (Sparton) doing game angling gear. Well, at least he was when I last went in.
