Yes - all three of those carp in the photos came from that pool last year. Pity about the 'improvements' - but I'll wait and see just how 'improved' it ends up. If you've read my recent post ' As one door closes.... ' you'll probably know about the other two waters I'm referring to ( both were at one time London Brick pits)

Now chaps these are what you call carp! I just love the look of these fish in the photos. Mary's mate shown on the mat is simply my idea of the perfect carp.

Lean, brassy commons with big tails, fin perfect, like the bottom fish in the post Julian made near the start of the thread.

Some lovely fish on this thread. For my part I do like a nice classic common

The Shropshire commons took a lot of beating in my eyes.
