Super job, what a difference you have made. Enjoy using it / her/ him ?!

Might I enquire what you used to repair the rims?

Hi Chaps

The rims were repaired using bits of thin aluminium sheet which I shaped to bridge the gap. I then filled the gap with body filler and used a dremel to grind the whole lot smooth and remove and blend in as much of the aluminium as practice.Its really the same as filling a whole in car bodywork.
For reference the paint was good old red hammerite smooth.
I cheated a bit with the handles and I still need to make a line guard.
