As you can see it has two sizes of line guards. These I had made by an engineer friend who now works for McLaren.
Very nice Weyfarer, it's 3 years younger than me.

well i finally got my vintage aerial ,and yes its a T10 ,a 4" version (although theres ab 4½" one on (M&M) a non e-bay auction this week ,i was thinking of having a go at) ,there was another T10 on e-bay last week (finished wed) with new handles ,i put a modest bid on but ,didn't have enough cash in the bank ,i was awaiting a check too clear ,too late for that reel .i had my head turned by a 3d Tv (cello brand ,from m&S) thats on spoecial offer @ £299 for a 32" 3D Tv is a cracking deal .and i was on the verge on sunday of going through with the online purchase (not e-bay) on sunday , i had to check on a couple of auction items i was watching ,and boom there was another ( 7950-10 ) vintage aerial with a buy it now price less than i'd bid on the previous one ,and for a second there the Tv almost had a chance .i'm now expecting a new arrival ,its just arrived in the post this morning and although it was described as having a slight wobble (a bit of a worry ,but livable with on the right reel ) .its so slight you need a magnifing glass too see it ! .just given it a bit of a clean and relube and tweaked the end float & its now super smooth & thats all its getting ,except maybe i'll get the ratchet converted to left hand wind as i'm right handed and will ,as is my way to have the line leaving the bottom .so i'm very happy chappy now .

might have to get rid of some excess pins now my prefered line up is virtually complete ,as i'm thinking of replacing my Jw heritage with another (true pin) aerial ,i've too many speedia's now i've got a first edition one ,my stripped speedia is surplus to requirements as is the deluxe "improved model" i have (now i've the hodder & T-10) and i've got another later narrow drum one ,i might scrap as the bush is very worn ,or i might just hold onto it untill i can make one /fit another from a scrapper ,and then theres a marco contesi & shadowlandia knocking around that can go ,so there will probably a few bargins posted in the classifieds soon

Jesus, Badger! You got some serious reelage, aint you mate. A Double Vent, a Coxon and a T10. This sort of thing should be illegal.

Ah yes....... R.Sealey quite a maker. Interesting tapers, compound/step-down tapers. Makes for a interesting action. It is a very nice rod. Steely cane. Caught alot of fish on this rod over the years and still in tip-top knick.

The reelage do have to live in a massive old bank safe hidden away from where I actually live....well some of them do :-).

As best I can work out, and it's not easy, ...R.Sealey was an employee of, and perhaps the inheritor of Bernard Sealey Rods who seem also to have traded as Precision Rods. Apparently no relation to Edgar Sealey, not at this time anyway...who knows about the past?

I say' seems to have traded as' rather than changed their name because both company names appear on fibreglass rods that appear to be from the same period, beofre gel coats were used.

I'm slowly building up a collection of images of their rods here:

It's early days yet, and you'll see I possibly mis-titled the album with 'formerly'.
