It's a hell of a way from 58 lb to 68lb though!

Skeff get down your local bakers and buy up all the day old loafs and chuck them in. :Thumb:

Whilst on the subject of records, I still think there should be a wild carp record if the water can be given the all clear that it doesn't contain other strains of carp.

God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.

Agree completely on the wildie record... What's the biggest that the TFF collective knows of? Not sure what Prof's best is but that would be the biggest for me - I'll check.... Think Aspatria has produced a 20?

I know of a 14lb wild carp caught from what we beleive is a totally other species free water. I'm still checking that no other carp strains have ever been stocked in there. We've only ever seen carp and tench as well as the Rainbows and Brownies.

God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.

A 20lb true wildie - you wouldn't happen to have access to a photo ?- now that would be something to see.

Sadly no...... I don't have a photo.... Biggest i think I have a photo of is my own 15lb 8oz best.
