Yes, and a better rod.
It's down to personal preference but I find octofloats sluggish,
sloppy and heavy. The best rod I have handled by Sealey in their
Floatcaster D-luxe which is a great rod.

Thank you. Yes, I agree, the Octofloat is quite heavy. Not that I have much experience but it just feels heavy if compared to my mkIV carp. So I will look out for a Chapman Avon.
