Watched a good fishing film lately, why not talk about it in here.

Lovely stuff Mark !! It’s big roach time and right now the Wye is rising a foot every hour. It’ll be in the fields tomorrow but with high pressure building to the south west, there should not be much more rain this week, so the river should be good in a day or two.
Very best for now,
Tim
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......

The Stour came up a foot yesterday but I need to get a puncture sorted out though hopeful later in the week.

It was sorted yesterday. The Stour was still up a few inches with a lot more colour but bread found me some roach with this the best at just over a pound. Very noisy for filming today but just glad to be out on a mild day.

Thank you Mark. I went back to the same swim this afternoon in order to ‘mop up’ in style with fresh maggots and casters. Three hours later I still had not had a bite !! Aargh - I must try harder…..

Mixed fortunes today, just one decent roach then I moved swims and found a pile of chub though no success videoing it.

Here's that session from Wednesday:

The wind dropped a bit on Monday afternoon so I had a stillwater all to myself.

Here's the result:
