when I'm fishing for barbel i mainly ledger for them but when i fish still waters i nearly always float fish this year i cought my biggest carp doing this while fishing for tench it was twenty five pound common carp on very light gear. i love seeing the float bury i think ill have to do more float fishing on the rivers next year
