Ed, I think those HBL black rings will look lovely on a Lucky S with black and yellow whippings. If you need a tip ring to match let me know.

Thanks Wal, I just had a set in my stash, thought it would be nice to use them. I have a tip thanks. What would they have been fitted to originally?

Thanks Wal, I just had a set in my stash, thought it would be nice to use them. I have a tip thanks. What would they have been fitted to originally?

They appear on a few Milwards rods, Swimversa maybe and the featherlite range. They also became popular on many glass rods.

I will mate, further to the stealth rings I shall probably do it in matt varnish! The last few rods I have done in gloss and it is just too bright even after a rub down with a racing pink.
