Thank you chaps, I have compiled a list in the first post of this thread of all the rods mentioned here.

Please let me know of any amendments or additions.

There was also the Melody (10' 6" split cane), the Harvey Torbett (10' split cane with detachable handle - intended as a decent "boy's rod" - there's one on eBay at present) and the Hughes Parry (7' 9" split cane sea trout spinning rod - I have one of these and use it for legering on small rivers).

p.s. Typo spotted in the list on page 1: "Nimord" for "Nimrod".

Just thought of some more:

Black Knight (13' whole cane with spliced split cane tip)
Spinlite (7' split cane spinner)
Leander (10' 3" split cane Avon with detachable handle)
Carp Superb (10' split cane MK IV clone)
Carp/Avon (10' as above with 2 tps)
Ensign (11' 6" whole cane with split cane top)

Are we interested in listing cane/glass hybrids like the Combination?

Thanks Dave, we can list all the rods that bare the Allcocks name. We just need to state at the side of each rod what it is made from.

I've just done a quick count of the rods listed in the 1938 Allcocks Anglers Guide and there are over 100 covering bottom fishing, spinning, fly and sea. The same blanks but with different reel fittings, rings and whipping patterns are given different numbers or names and many of them are available in several different lengths resulting in several hundred different rods.

Most just have numbers, but there are quite a few with names too that are not on the list yet:

The Lion: 3 joint spanish reed and greenheart 13.5ft
The Dragoon: 3 joint light reed cane, built cane top 12.5 ft
The Brownie: 3 joint light cane, built cane top 10.5ft
The Bickerdyke: 4 joint, selected cane, 3 greenheart tops (combination, makes of 14ft, 13ft, 10ft, 9ft, 8ft and 5ft)
The Water Wolf: 3 joint, mottled cane, greenheart top (Pike spinning rod) 10ft

The Southern Belle: 2 joint built cane (double built throughout, steel centred top) (sea rod) 7ft and 8ft
The Allcock Bell: 2 joint built cane, double built split cane top (tope rod) 6.5ft

There may be more in the dealers catalogues which were more comprehensive than the guides and I'm sure there were new rods in the 50s and 60s that are not in the earlier catalogues, but someone else can list those, my fingers are starting to hurt
