SK left PDAS some years back, he then joined RN&RM CAA and fished Sultan moat (Fort Rowner) and made many videos of the place, he then went on to make Sea fishing videos.

Soake is lovely Moley, some good Roach, Tench and very good Perch. Lakeside is very Carpy but well worth a Rudd and Roach session

Thanks for coming back Rob.

Met SK and Snape amongst assorted ne'er do wells in Gonk matches with the Golden Scalers vs Scruffs a few years back. SK was very quiet but went about his fishing in a serious manner.....perhaps the intensity got to him?

Or was it some other influence?

Snape is a very naughty boy and has earned too many House Demerits.....a visit to the Headmaster will soon be in order should he carry on in this manner!

By the way guess who Fatty fished for?

Soake is reasonably near to the Fatty abode and is on the list for a right Royal visitation if only remembering to book it up can be achieved. Bronwich although Carpy to the extreme, according to AM there are decent other fish in there too!

Trying to get round all the PADAS waters is giving Fatty a head ache.....so much water so little time!

By the way looked at Hamble too, bit overgrowm but will return in the winter Not looked at the Rother bit yet but will do so in the near future

The Rother bit is Very small (and that coming from the Wally warden) with a fee Troooots, and silvers, I had a Perch of about half a pound when I fished there. The ponds are very pretty and Pete the warden is a good bloke.

All veritable monsters but nowt like the 10 incher shown from the Wandle but have noted the hands hilding said behemoth are from a child or someone of the female variety with small hands....oh yes!

Fatty is always pleased to see a Gonk on the end of his line Bob and even happier if it is a biggun.

The lap dancing Gonk was fatter than the usual run of fish and is in the Mole, for it is he, Hall of Fame for being so big

Throw in a handful of Brownies and it soon becomes clear this little river is stuffed to the gills with alsorts of fish. Note Bene that not all fish caught get their mugshot as often it is too hectic.To scoff a pie and slurp tea means taking the bait out of the water or the result is spilled tea and dropped pie...followed by rude words

Only went for a few hours.

Well done again Mr Mole, super Perch, was that from Boarhunt bridge? There's a good swim just downstream from the bridge, the deep run by the Oak tree which quite often holds good Perch and Dace also the Mill pool (where we had lunch on last year's Jolly) that often throws up some surprises.

Gudgeon are glorious Garry.....how's that for alliteration?

The Boarhunt Bridge is correct but caught the perch under the tree in the deeper run before the first Arch. Also most of the roach came from the first arch too.

The Gonks were mostly caught in the flow as the river was up and running.

The trout all seemed to be hugging the far bank with a cast there every so often producing; some were quite big ie over a pound.

Going to give the Spurling section a go soon to see who's about. Also rumour has it that some nice river carp lurk down the tidal bit so will have to make a trip there soon.
