Thats a coincidence I saw a bumble bee only yesterday ?
Not a fish was visible that first time I visited Beechmere; an utter
stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,
has been the cause of several suicides.’

My honey bees have been out three times this past month, compared to nil last December, they'll only fly above 12c. Bumble bees need a lot less so no wonder.

I had a visit from a Wasp today.
I was stood at the bench cleaning a rod down when it came in, went straight for my face and tormented me for about 20 seconds then flew back out the door.

Why do they have to buzz round your face?

Wal.

You want to be careful Wal as wasps can get real nasty this time of year, one gave me such a dirty look the other day.

I'll get me coat. :Chuckle:

This is getting weirder.
Apparently Chris Yates is a bee keeper from New Jersey!
