Well it's almost 2am and sleep is hard to come by, excited doesn't seem a word fitting for how I feel right now, I'm ten hours away from realising a childhood dream. A couple of years ago I'd managed to wangle a days fishing with Pete Reading and the night before I was both excited and nervous to meet the man, well I feel eerily similar as I'm nervous about meeting Redmire for the first time.
I'm not a carp angler at all and this is the first time in my adult life I'll have targeted carps, I had some imspiration words from SK and I feel as prepared as possible. I hope she's kind to me.

Enjoy every moment, Sir.

Enjoy and good luck, Baz.

Have a great time "soaking in" the atmosphere.....I really hope the weather is kind to you too. Certainly here in Wiltshire today it is quite mild and no rain so maybe a shift in the weather "just over the bridge" too that will allow you to just reflect and enjoy as well as fish as you realise your long held dream.
